In der Kostümgeschichte wurde der Körper in fast jeder Epoche zusätzlich modifiziert, um die spezifische Silhouette zu erreichen. Genau hier kommt das "Darunter" ins Spiel.

Das ist die Grundlage zu jedem historischen Kostüm und gehört für uns bei jedem Auftrag mit dazu.

Vom Reifrock zur Krinoline zum Pariser Steiß (Bustle). Von Schnürbrüsten, Korsetts bis zu Höschen, Unterröcken, Chemisen… es gibt keine historische Unterkleidung, die unser Team nicht schon gefertigt hat. Und dies immer passend zum Träger des Kostümes.

The Foundation Creates the Silhouette!

Throughout costume history, the body was additionally modified in almost every epoch to achieve the specific silhouette. This is exactly where the "Underneath" (the undergarments) comes into play.

This is the foundation for every historical costume and is included in every commission for us.

From the farthingale to the crinoline to the Bustle. From stays, corsets to knickers, petticoats, chemises... there is no historical undergarment that our team hasn't already produced. And this is always tailored to fit the wearer of the costume.
